91ÉäÇø is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of full-time Admissions Representative at our Chicago campus. This position is hybrid, with at least 2-3 days per week required onsite at the Chicago campus.

General Job Summary:

The Admissions Representative is the first point of contact for prospective students responsible for providing information about the profession, the college, our programs, philosophy, features, and benefits of the school. The Admissions Representative must meet the school’s enrollment objectives in an accurate, professional, and ethical manner and work within the contact strategy to reach, connect with, interview, and help prospective students through application and initial registration to 91ÉäÇøâ€™s acupuncture and massage programs.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts interviews and tours and evaluates each prospective ground student based on his/her needs, desires, interests, qualifications, motivations, and commitments, and in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable federal and state regulations and all accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements.
  • Strives toward admissions targets and maintains satisfactory levels of activity for both the ground and online programs.
  • Presents information in a factual and ethical manner to prospective students and others regarding school’s programs and tuition and fee schedules, refund policy, payment plans and other college policies and procedures which affect students.
  • Assists students through each step of the admissions process from inquiry, document collection, final interviews, New Student Orientation and during the add/drop period of each term.
  • Maintains compliance to admissions policies and procedures.
  • Refers students as appropriate to Financial Aid or the Bursar for payment plan options.
  • Assists prospective students in completing the admissions process in the most efficient and supportive manner, following up weekly on students with pending tasks.
  • Assists students with finalization of registration and the enrollment process.
  • Represents 91ÉäÇøâ€™s programs at various open houses, information sessions, and weekend events, including occasional off-site recruiting and educational events.
  • Attends all staff meetings, requested trainings, stitch meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions with the Director of Admissions.

Job Skills:

  • Follows and respects admissions procedures, activity guidelines including front end activity, customer service expectations, event follow-up, entering notes on student records and other crucial tasks.

Communication: Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of collateral to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps students understand and retain the information. Maintain active communication with the Finance department, Student Advisors, Deans, etc. as it relates to your student’s needs.

  • Organizes the communication in a CRM (Salesforce & CampusVue), maintains student attention, adjusts to the student, ensures understanding, adheres to the accepted conventions, comprehends communication from others.
  • Enters data and notes on each interaction with the student promptly, including attempted contact notes and actions.

Customer Focus: Ensuring prospective student’s needs are the primary focus of one’s actions; developing and sustaining productive relationships with both students and through the following key actions:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

Seeks to understand prospective students’ needs, and takes action to meet those needs and concerns, builds collaborative relationships, and uses feedback systems to address prospective students’ needs.

  • Follows a documented contact strategy, using CRM tools to attempt to contact, connect, set appointments, interview, and take applications from prospective students interested in programs at Pacific.
  • Maintain satisfactory outbound/inbound inquiry calls to help support prospective students. (A minimum of 100 outbound dials per week)

Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA strongly preferred
  • Prior Admissions experience or experience in Recruitment/Sales/Customer Service field preferred.

The Director of Clinical Services manages the day-to-day operations of the College Clinic, ensuring the smooth flow of clinic and office operations. This position actively intervenes and models appropriate responses to patient and customer service needs and concerns. The Director of Clinical Services ensures clinic supervisors, student interns, assistants/observers, clinic staff, and patients understand and adhere to clinic and college policies and procedures.Ìý They maintain a high standard of professionalism and serve as the Campus Safety Manager and HIPAA Officer. The Director of Clinical Services collaborates closely with the Clinic Office Manager, Campus Director, and Dean of Graduate Studies, who oversee all academic functions of the acupuncture program.

Essential Functions:

Business Responsibilities:

  • Communicates weekly with the Campus Director regarding clinic business and policy determinations to ensure the smooth flow of activities at the clinic and off-sites.
  • Performs all opening duties on days the Clinic Office Manager arrives after opening.
  • Performs all closing duties on days the Clinic Office Manager opens the clinic.
  • Updates malpractice insurance for students and faculty each term and annually.
  • Inputs, edits, and removes intern clinic schedules into NexusClinical (EHR) each term.
  • Finalizes the clinic schedule for the upcoming term by the middle of the current term.
  • Provides feedback to the annual edit of the clinic manual and front desk manual.
  • Ensures proper maintenance, security, archiving, and disposal of patient records.
  • Maintains effective and efficient delivery of clinical and pharmacy goods and patient services both on campus and in the off-site clinical locations.
  • Monitors patient flow and ensures the clinic is adequately staffed.
  • Oversee orders and ensure organized storage and organization of clinic supplies.
  • Oversee year-end inventories and ensure the inventory is complete as of December 31st each year.
  • Oversee timely repair and replacement of clinical equipment.
  • Ensures all administrative and housekeeping responsibilities are completed during each semester break.
  • Provides input on operational costs to ensure cost-effective and quality operations.
  • Advises Campus Director on issues of compliance with all State and Federal regulations.

  • Conducts orientation for Ìýnew supervisory staff members, ensuring familiarity Ìýto college and clinic protocols and procedures.

  • Ensure students in the clinic have received CPR/First Aid training before beginning courses in the clinic.

  • Assists with the clinical evaluation process.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and models awareness of “Team†in working with all customers: students, faculty, patients, and staff.
  • Primary point of contact for reviewing and executing community outreach events with a goal of holding one event per semester.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Clinic Office Manager, Clinic Supervisors, Private Practitioners, Clinic Reception Staff.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Manages the workflow and operations of the student clinic.
  • Interviews and hire supervisors/private practitioners to operate in the student clinic and offsite affiliates.
  • Reviews supervisor performance annually or as needed.
  • Provides hiring assistance for clinic office staff and reviews staff performance annually or as needed.
  • Trains and supervises all clinic office staff.
  • Coordinates with offsite human resources and offsite payroll team for staff hiring, confirming/reporting payroll hours, and staff transition. Ensures all staff, faculty and students are aware of OSHA, HIPAA, and MERSA requirements.
  • Monitors all IT and equipment issues, fixes, and replacements within the clinic.
  • Communicate with IT and admin about IT issues and supply needs.

General Job Summary:

The Receptionist is the face of the 91ÉäÇø Chicago campus. This position will meet and greet incoming guests, students, staff, and faculty at our small downtown campus and direct them to team members while providing excellent customer service. This position will also assist with bookstore sales and help process tuition and other student payments. During slow times, the Receptionist also assists with administrative support for the Campus Director, Admissions team, and other staff, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception/Administrative Assistant Support:

  • Answers all incoming phone calls and directs them to the appropriate college personnel in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Assists callers on hold as quickly as possible, requesting support from other staff as needed to minimize wait times.
  • Directs inquires to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Greets walk-in visitors and ensures they are directed to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Collects tuition and book sale payments.
  • Assists with the distribution of student ID cards and U-Passes.
  • May perform opening and/or closing duties.
  • Distributes memos, mail, and other communications to faculty, staff, and students via mailboxes.
  • Receives deliveries and promptly notifies the intended recipient for pickup.
  • Makes copies and scans documents upon request.
  • Provides administrative support and performs other duties as needed, such as filing or assisting the Campus Director or Registrar.

91ÉäÇø is hiring for the part-time position of Clinic Shift Supervisor at our Chicago Campus. The current available shifts are Wednesdays, 8:30am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-4:30pm.

Position Overview:
The Clinic Shift Supervisor oversees students at varying levels of their Masters or Doctoral program as they treat patients within a clinical environment. The Supervisor educates students on Asian Medicine theory and practice and supports the treatment of patients within the scope of a Licensed Acupuncturist. The Clinic Supervisor also monitors and makes corrections to student clinic attendance, charting, diagnosis and treatments and assists in the progress of students in an academic setting and helps establish the clinical skills necessary for Acupuncture.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor student attendance, clinic responsibilities, and grades.
  • Communicate and approve treatment strategies with students and patients.
  • Communicate with the clinic office staff throughout the shift.
  • Lead lectures and discussions of case studies for the sake of student academic progress and understanding of Chinese medicine theory.
  • Instruct and monitor students on clinical skills, including bedside manners, time management, EMR charting, patient communications and best practices for a Licensed Acupuncturist.
  • Maintain a professional, safe, welcoming academic and clinical environment for students and patients.
  • Always Ensure HIPAA and FERPA compliance.
  • Monitor supervisor email and 91ÉäÇø communications on a regular basis.
  • Attend supervisor meetings, occurring once per school term, 3 times per calendar year.

91ÉäÇø is seeking a dynamic individual for the full-time position of Senior Financial Aid Officer at our New York campus. This position is hybrid, with at least 3 days per week required at the New York campus.

General Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Aid Officer plays a critical role in the administration of financial aid programs, ensuring that students receive appropriate and timely financial assistance. This position is responsible for overseeing complex financial aid processes, providing guidance and support to students and families, and managing the disbursement of federal, state, and institutional aid. The Senior Financial Aid Officer will also be involved in compliance with federal and state regulations and the development of policies and procedures to ensure effective financial aid delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Aid Counseling:

  • Advise students and their families on various financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess students’ financial needs and recommend appropriate aid packages.
  • Provide guidance on completing the FAFSA, verifying financial data, and interpreting financial aid awards.

Program Administration:

  • Assist the Assistant Director of Financial Aid (ADFA) in overseeing the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, including determining eligibility, awarding aid, and ensuring timely disbursement.
  • Ensure accurate processing of financial aid applications and that all required documents are submitted and verified in accordance with regulations.
  • Monitor students’ progress toward meeting financial aid requirements, including maintaining eligibility for renewal.
  • Assist The ADFA with R2T4 process.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations governing financial aid programs, including Title IV and state aid programs.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to financial aid programs, such as institutional, federal, and state audits, and required documentation for regulatory agencies.
  • Stay up to date with changes in financial aid regulations and institutional policies.

Financial Aid Technology:

  • Utilize financial aid management systems and databases to track, manage, and process student aid applications, awards, and disbursements.
  • Lead or participate in the enhancement and implementation of financial aid technology solutions to improve service delivery.

Supervision & Mentoring:

  • Mentor financial aid officers and support staff, providing guidance and training.
  • Assist in managing workflows and providing support to the team to ensure optimal student service.

Outreach & Workshops:

  • Participate in outreach efforts such as financial aid workshops, presentations, and informational sessions for prospective and current students.

Policy Development & Improvement:

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of financial aid policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance student satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to financial aid procedures to align with best practices.

Customer Service:

  • Provide high-quality, responsive customer service to students, families, and other stakeholders, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
  • Resolve escalated financial aid issues, ensuring that students and families are satisfied with the resolution.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in institutional committees and working groups to advance student success initiatives.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for outreach events or during peak financial aid processing periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the ADFA.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial aid administration, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state financial aid programs, including Title IV regulations, FAFSA, and the Higher Education Act.
  • Proficiency in financial aid software systems; Anthology, COD, NSLDS, Campus Ivy’s CORE (we can train in CORE).
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Experience in nursing education preferred

Course Description:ÌýThis course provides the student with pharmacological principles, terminology, and the use of drug references. The concepts enable the student to understand the application of pharmaceuticals. Drug-herb interaction is an important component of the course.

Job Summary:ÌýÌýFaculty for Pharmacology. The faculty member should be qualified to teach classes at the Doctoral level.

ÌýMinimum/Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Acupuncture/East Asian Medicine with New York licensure and NCCAOM certification or degree relevant to teaching a course in Pharmacology like MD, DC, PT/DPT, DNP.

Position Overview:Ìý

The Director of Student Services serves as an advocate for student success throughout the academic lifecycle for students enrolled in our acupuncture and massage programs, and actively coach students from the point of enrollment to graduation. They must demonstrate a strong commitment to student success planning and advising both remotely and in-person. The Director of Student Services also serves the College as a student liaison and collaborates with all departments to promote a positive, student-centered experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Contacts students regularly and proactively through virtual/in-person meetings, phone, text, and email to provide support through tools, resources, services, encouragement, positive reinforcement, and student accountability to ensure smooth transition into the program and throughout the lifecycle of student.
  • Provides advice and academic planning for students across all programs. This includes developing academic plans, aiding with course registration, reviewing requests for schedule modifications, and creating remedial course plans for students with academic difficulty.
  • Be familiar with state and national requirements for licensure and be able to communicate these requirements or refer students as needed.
  • Uses student information systems, customer relationship management systems and reporting for timely completion of tasks and to document outreach.
  • Works closely with other academic and student service leaders to identify at-risk students and provide necessary support.
  • Builds connections, motivates, and resolves student issues. Individuals in this role are the bridge for the student and college administration, ensuring students have access to information, policies, procedures, and requirements they need to make informed decisions.
  • Problem solves when dealing with student issues that require research, de-escalation, and critical thinking.
  • Assists in student retention initiatives and collaborate with faculty and student services to implement strategies that promote student success and persistence.
  • Completes special projects as assigned by the Vice President, Dean, or designee(s).
  • Participate in administrative meetings as required.
  • Recommends support resources, policies, and procedures to help the student population succeed.
  • Assists with planning, attending, and participating in orientation, information dissemination sessions, and other special events during evenings and weekends as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Job Skills:

  • Master’s degree required, in education, counseling, or another related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years working with students from diverse backgrounds preferably in higher education OR equivalent experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with an attention to detail for complex academic logistics.
  • Ability to manage confidential records in a discrete and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others at various levels to support the success of others.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

New York, NY – 91ÉäÇø of Health and Science is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Kamila Barnes, DNP, FNP-C, RN, FADLN, FNYAM, as Associate Dean for Entry into Nursing Practice. Dr. Barnes, a distinguished health care leader, clinician, educator, and advocate with nearly two decades of nursing experience, is widely recognized in the New York City nursing community for her pioneering work addressing health disparities and advancing maternal-child health.

Dr. Barnes brings robust academic and professional credentials to the college, including a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Rochester School of Nursing, and extensive clinical experience as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She has also held leadership roles in nursing education, overseeing undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, which positions her to profoundly influence the development of new nurses entering the profession.

A passionate maternal health advocate, Dr. Barnes currently serves as National Chair of the ’s . Her scholarly work highlights critical issues related to psychosocial support for teen mothers and the systemic disparities impacting maternal and child health outcomes. Dr. Barnes is a vocal proponent of policy initiatives such as the , advocating for legislative solutions to reduce preventable pregnancy-related deaths.

Dr. Barnes is also a Distinguished Fellow of the National Black Nurses Association’s Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing and a Fellow of the , amongst many other awards and recognitions over a storied career. Position Overview:

Clinical practice is one of the most important elements of the curriculum at 91ÉäÇø. The clinical experience is where medical theory is translated to professional practice. Clinical supervisors oversee the patient care experience in its entirety. This includes monitoring intern assessment, diagnostic and treatment skills, charting, and time management ensuring safe clinical practice, CNT, and adverse event management. In practitioner shifts, the clinical supervisor will provide patient care with student observers in attendance.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Licensed Acupuncturist for at least 5 years
  • Valid, unencumbered California license in Acupuncture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate compassionately and with confidence to students, staff, and other faculty.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency includes Outlook, Word, and Teams to stay informed, communicate via email, and complete online evaluations.
  • Ability to chart accurately and demand the same from students.
  • Ability to assist students in diagnosis based on objective and subjective data.
