91ÉäÇø of Health and Science (PCHS) strives to provide students with current information on scholarship opportunities. Scholarships can help offset the cost of tuition and can be used toward a variety of educational costs.

PCHS scholarships and grants are awarded automatically to eligible students each semester unless noted otherwise in an offering. Institutional offerings may not be used in addition to another institutional offer (such as a discount, grant or scholarship).Ìý All grants and scholarships are limited based on availability of funds.

Everyone

Academic Achievement Scholarship (Acupuncture/Massage)

Award Amount: up to $1,500 (One-time payment in the term awarded)
This scholarship honors acupuncture and massage students who have demonstrated scholastic achievements in their previous and/or current education.
Application Requirements: Students must complete an online application and submit a 1-page essay describing their academic achievement.Ìý

Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in an acupuncture (MSAc, MSAcCHM, DAc, DAcCHM) or massage (AOS, AAS, CMT) program at the Chicago, New York, or San Diego campus.
  • Be a new, readmitted or continuing student (non-matriculating students are ineligible).
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 1 course per term to maintain eligibility.
  • Must maintain good academic standing.
  • Must maintain active student status.
  • Students may apply for one scholarship category per term.

Limitations/Restrictions:

  • The Financial Aid Office will adjust funding for all scholarship recipients accordingly.
  • Financial need will be considered when selecting between equally meritorious candidates. Priority is given to students who have not previously received a scholarship.
  • This scholarship may not be used in addition to another institutional offer (such as a discount, grant, or scholarship). Students who meet eligibility requirements for multiple institutional offers will receive the most beneficial program as determined by PCHS.
  • Restricted to tuition only and cannot exceed the total tuition billed for the awarded term.
  • Awards are limited based on the availability of funds. PCHS reserves the right to change offerings at any time.
  • Awardees will be notified approximately 7-10 days after submission deadline.
  • Applications submitted after the upcoming term deadline will be considered for the following term.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) ScholarshipÌý(Acupuncture/Massage)

Award Amount: up to $1,500 (One-time payment in the term awarded)
This scholarship honors acupuncture and massage students who have demonstrated contributions to diversity, equality, inclusion initiatives, in the area(s) of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), racial or ethnic diversity, sexual orientation or gender identity, disability, veteran status, and/or other areas underrepresented or otherwise important to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
Application Requirements: Students must complete an online application and submit a one-page essay. The essay should describe either your previous contributions to advancing EDI or how you plan to use your acupuncture or massage education to make a meaningful impact on EDI in the future.

Service ScholarshipÌý(Acupuncture/Massage)

This scholarship honors acupuncture and massage applicants who have demonstrated service through community service efforts or leadership roles.
Application Requirements: Students must complete an online application and submit a one-page essay. The essay should describe either your previous contributions to service and community support or how you plan to use your acupuncture or massage education to make a meaningful impact through service in the future.

Panda Cares Scholars Program

Award Amount: $15,500
The Panda Cares Scholars Program is a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted students. The Panda Cares Scholars Program will award a three-year renewable scholarship for up to $15,500 (up to $3,500 sophomore year, up to $5,000 junior year and $7,000 senior year) to highly capable future leaders for America who demonstrate academic achievement, strong leadership skills and a commitment to community service. For currently enrolled freshmen about to become sophomores.


Panda Cares First-Year Scholars Program

Award Amount: $20,000
The Panda Cares First-Year Scholars Program is a one-time postsecondary scholarship and college success program for graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college. Must have a completed FAFSA, qualify for Federal Pell Grant and must demonstrate unmet need.

Acupuncture

American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) AnnualÌýScholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
The purpose of the ABORM Annual Scholarship is to foster new scholarly inquiry in the field of Oriental Reproductive Medicine & Infertility for publication in the Journal of Chinese Medicine. The ABORM Annual Scholarship amount is $1000.00, with the scholarship to be paid in full upon successful submission and acceptance for publication of an article in the Journal of Chinese Medicine (JCM).

Massage Therapy

Working Adult Massage Scholarship (San Diego)

Award Amount:Ìý$750
91ÉäÇø is pleased to offer a $750 scholarship for incoming Massage Therapy Certificate students in San Diego who are working adults. This scholarship recognizes applicants who are balancing employment with their pursuit of a massage therapy education. Applicants must be working at least 10 hours per week. Awardees will be notified approximately 7-10 days after application submission.

Dr. Jeff Forman Memorial Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000
It was with great sadness that CAMTC announced the passing of Board member Dr. Jeff Forman in February 2025. Dr. Forman was appointed to the Board in 2014 and was later elected Vice Chair and then Chair of CAMTC. Dr. Forman brought decades of experience and energy to the Board, and his unique perspective will always be missed. The California Massage Therapy Council has chosen to honor Dr. Jeff Forman’s career in massage and service on the Board with a scholarship to a promising student in the field of massage.


American Massage Therapy Associate (AMTA) Rick Boden Healer at Heart Scholarship

Award Amount: $10,000
AMTA will award one lucky student the $10,000 Rick Boden Healer at Heart Scholarship®. Just complete the application, and, in a few sentences, answer the question: How do you plan to incorporate self-care into your massage therapy practice and how will this help you promote the health of others?


Nursing

Nurse Advancer Grant

Award Amount: Eligible students may receive savings on tuition of $1250 per term (up to $10,000).

The Nurse Advancer Grant was created to support nurses enrolled in the RN to BSN Option at 91ÉäÇø of Health and Science.

Eligibility

  • Be enrolled in the RN to BSN Option.
  • Be a new, readmitted or continuing student (non-matriculating students are ineligible).
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 courses per term to maintain eligibility.
  • Must maintain good academic standing.

Limitations/ Restrictions

  • This grant may not be used in addition to another institutional offer (such as a discount, grant or scholarship).
  • Grant is restricted to tuition only.

Holistic Nurse Grant

Award Amount: Eligible students may receive savings on tuition of $715 per term (up to $5,000).

The Holistic Nurse Grant is offered to students working in integrative health environments and those looking to pursue careers in holistic healthcare.

Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled in the MSN program.
  • Be a new, readmitted or continuing student (non-matriculating students are ineligible).
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 courses per term to maintain eligibility.
  • Must maintain good academic standing.

Limitations/ Restrictions

  • This grant may not be used in addition to another institutional offer (such as a discount, grant or scholarship).
  • Grant is restricted to tuition only.

Carla Mariano Scholarship for the Advancement of Holistic Nursing

Award Amount: up to $3,000

This scholarship was created to honor Dr. Carla Mariano, EdD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAIM, the founding Dean of Nursing at PCHS, who helped craft the nursing programs’ curricula and remains a beloved member of the PCHS community. This scholarship provides $3,000 for the 8th term of enrollment. This award is applied toward your nursing program tuition in recognition of your academic, professional, and personal accomplishments. To receive this scholarship, you must register for Winter (January 2026) coursesÌýin the PCHS Prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Foundation of the National Student Nurses’ Association (FNSNA) Scholarship

Award Amount: up to $10,000

The Foundation of the National Student Nurses’ Association (FNSNA) offers annual scholarships to undergraduate nursing students nationwide. Awards are based on a combination of academic achievement, financial need, and a demonstrated commitment to the nursing profession.Ìý

PCHS students in the Prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing program are encouraged to apply directly through the FNSNA. The 2026 online scholarship application will open on September 8, 2025Ìýat Ìýwith applications due by January 9, 2026.ÌýTo be eligible, applicants must graduate after July 1, 2026. AACN Nursing Scholarship Fund

Several scholarships directly through the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and a great resource listing dozens of scholarship opportunities for students of many demographics and life situations, undergraduate and graduate.


American Holistic Nurses Association

Award Amount: $455-$5,000
Must be a current member of American Holistic Nurses’ Association (AHNA) enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate nursing program related to holistic nursing.


Certiphi-AACN Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000

Certiphi Screening, Inc., which provides customized applicant and student background screening services to colleges, universities, hospitals, and organizations has partnered with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), a voice for academic nursing that represents nearly a thousand member schools at public and private institutions nationwide to offer this scholarship through the Foundation for Academic Nursing.

Eligibility

  • Must be actively enrolled in the prelicensure BS in Nursing program
  • Must be currently enrolled and actively taking classes
  • Must be a U.S citizen or permanent resident
  • 3.2 GPA

Indian Health Service:ÌýHealth Professions Scholarship Program

Open to full- and part-time American Indian and Alaska Native students seeking an undergraduate or graduate education in the health care field; priority is given to graduate students and junior- and senior-level undergrad students. Must be a member of a federally recognized tribe and agree to serve one year in an IHS facility or other program serving Indian people for each year of financial support. Pre-nursing scholarships are also available.


National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners

Award Amount: Various (Multiple Options)
Most scholarships are intended for those who focus on NAPNAP and/or pediatrics-focused roles. Several scholarships are available with a variety of deadlines, criteria, and awards.

Demographic

Asian American/Pacific Islander


AANAPISI Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,500-$5,000
Who is eligible? First-generation Asian and Pacific Islander college students living at or below the poverty level. Applicants must enroll full time on campus to qualify.


APIA Scholarship Program

Award Amount: $2,500-$20,000
Who is eligible? First-generation, low-income Asian and Pacific Islander college students with a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA and a dedication to community service can apply. Only undergraduate students are eligible.


Asian Pacific Fund Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000-$20,000
Who is eligible? Multiple scholarships available with various criteria: Filipino descent, current or parental employment at Asian cuisine or Asian-owned restaurants, economic need, residents of specific California locales, etc.


Korean American Scholarship Foundation Scholarships

Award Amount: $500-$5,000
Who is eligible? These scholarships primarily target Korean American students who are enrolled full time. If additional funds remain, non-Korean American students may receive an award. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and scholastic achievement.


Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund

Award Amount: $5,000
Who is eligible? Taiwanese American high school seniors or first-year college students with a cumulative, unweighted GPA of at least 3.0 may apply. Applicants must have a household income at or below the federal/state/county low-income level.


Upakar Foundation Scholarships

Award Amount: $2,000-$10,000
Who is eligible? Low-income applicants born in — or with one parent born in — the Republic of India who are enrolled at an accredited institution may apply. Applicants need a cumulative, unweighted GPA of at least 3.6.


USPAACC Scholarships

Award Amount: $3,000-$5,000
Who is eligible? Asian Pacific American high school seniors with a minimum 3.3 GPA, leadership in extracurriculars, involvement in community service, and financial need may apply.


Central California Asian Pacific Women Scholarship

Who is eligible? Asian and Pacific Islander American women from eight specific California counties may apply. The committee considers first-generation applicants with high academic achievement and leadership experience.


Asian and Pacific Islander Queer Sisters (APIQS) Scholarship

Who is eligible? Asian and Pacific Islander Americans who identify as lesbian, bisexual females, or trans (both MTF and FTM) may apply. Applicants must also reside in the Northwest — including Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.


Prism Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000-$5,000
Who is eligible? Students with a proven history of impact within the Asian Pacific Islander American or LGBTQ+ communities may apply. Applicants do need to identify as either to apply.


The Tang Scholarship

Who is eligible? Asian Pacific Americans (at least 25%) with a minimum 3.0 GPA who identify as LGBT may apply. Applicants must reside in the Bay Area and show financial need.

African American

Spectrum Scholars

Award Amount: $20,000
Spectrum Scholars awards qualified rising college juniors with financial need $20,000 in scholarships over their junior and senior year. Selected Scholars will participate in a structured, two-year program focusing on professional development and a potential career at Charter Communications. Students will also receive a professional career mentor and opportunity to explore an internship at Charter. Scholars should identify as Black/African American; students within this community who also identify as LGBTQ, students with disabilities, or students with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
